Our repeater has features which allow you to request information from it on demand. This information includes time, date, and weather announcements. Additionally, if a weather alert is issued, the W5LVB repeater will announce that information as well.

No announcements between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM

No announcements are made if the repeater is in use.

The Weather Warning is a short statement summarizing the conditions. The Weather Warning Summary is the complete statement from the National Weather Service.

After a Weather Warning is issued a beacon stating “A weather warning has been issued. Tune to NOAH Weather Radio for more information.” every 60 minutes until the warning period has ended.

All announcements are ended with “ W5LVB Hot Springs, WX5HOT Mount Ida”.  At the half hour the announcement “ Diamond Lakes Area Skywarn repeaters W5LVB Hot Springs, WX5HOT Mount Ida” is made.
